Tecmo is revealing a few details of their casual market-aimed Family Fun Football for the Wii.

Family Fun Football is Tecmo's more simplistic brand of sporty action for the Wii, featuring ten unique teams with varying game attributes. It will have a simple playbook making it "easy for everyone to learn and understand the game of [American] football."

The game will also award random power-ups throughout games in a Mario Kart-style fashion. The power-ups will be awarded through a slot-style system, temporarily increasing a player's speed, strength, passing, and interception abilities. There will also be an option to play as Miis, when unlocked.

To appeal further to the casual audience, the game also includes ten mini-games not yet detailed by Tecmo.

Family Fun Football will be released this autumn.
