Total War: Rome 2 sends Patch 9 live and into the wild

Yesterday’s hotfix for the latest Total War: Rome 2 patch was apparently enough to push it out of the beta stage and into the realm known as “worthy for public release.” As a result, Patch 9 is now available to all and should automatically download and apply itself to your copy of Rome 2 on Steam.

Total War: Rome 2’s Caesar in Gaul delayed, Patch 8.1 due 19 December

Creative Assembly has announced that the expansion for Rome 2, Caesar in Gaul, has been delayed by one week to 17 December (it was previously due on the 12th.) This is said to give the developer “a bit more time to squeeze in some additions to the accompanying patch.” That patch is Patch 8 (for those keeping count,) and will roll out for all players on the same date as the DLC; 17 December.

Sports Interactive has released a patch for Football Manager 2014, bringing the game to version 14.1.4 and the in-game match engine to v1433 (yes, they have separate version numbers, Football Manager loves numbers okay?) It’s compatible with all saved games except, oddly, if you’re using the Swedish Reserve League.
