This week on the IncGamers Podcast we discuss the news that has shaken the videogame world down to its very foundations. Shannon Tweed’s Attack of the Groupies is now available on Steam.
Oh, and I guess Oculus being bought by Facebook was quite a big deal too. The podcast panel discuss this move at length, as well as Michael Abrash (and others’) moves from Valve to Oculus, Notch’s cancellation of the Oculus version of Minecraft, privacy concerns, Chris Roberts’ views on the acquisition, and the general reaction from players and VR advocates across the industry.
That all sounds very hoighty toighty but it’s mostly jokes about Facebook.
We also examine what we know about Namco Bandai’s decision to remove certain images from the Dark Souls 2 Steam store page and what this might mean for the PC version of the game, discuss Runic Games’ high profile departures and remind everybody that Dead Space is free on Origin at the moment.
