Total War: Rome 2 (3)

Some brief Total War: Rome II gameplay marches out [Video]

Sega and Creative Assembly have put out a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it gameplay teaser trailer for Total War: Rome II. It may all pass by in a flash of smoke, crumbling walls and elephant noises (oh yes), but you should be able to catch the distinctive signs of Total War in the sizeable units of men marching across scorched battlefields.

Historically speaking, here’s where we are in the trailer: “The year is 146BC, brilliant tactician Scipio Aemilianus is dispatched by Rome to break the three-year-long siege of Carthage, an unforgivable blight on the glory of the growing Empire.”

Total War: Rome II will be released on the PC in 2013.
