Halted Lemmings port returns as Caveman

The creator of a Lemmings port, shut down by a Sony cease and desist letter back in July 2010, has reskinned and re-released the game as Caveman.

Aaron Ardiri got back in touch to tell us "[Sony Computer Entertainment Europe] decided to not do anything with licensing; so - we found time to rework it into a completely new game." All similarities to the game Lemmings are, it seems, completely intentional.

As Ardiri puts it: "Consider it Lemmings but with a completely new skin."

Caveman is currently available for iOS and webOS.

Hopefully there'll be a happy ending of a similar nature for the recently released Streets of Rage remake, currently under lockdown by SEGA.
