Eugen Systems' mental looking¬*Wargame AirLand Battle will be released in the UK on 31 May.

The game is still in beta testing is looking like a really interesting and in-depth title. We've been testing the game over the past few weeks and it's certainly different from your usual RTS fare with stacks of units from different nations and the ability to create decks of units before going into multiplayer battle. It sounds complicated but it's incredibly easy to play.

Today Eugen also revealed information on the game's solo campaign which is played on a huge strategic map of Europe. Players will be tasked to move forces, launch strikes, play¬*intelligence missions, carry out special forces strikes, satellite spying, bombardments, and even tactical nuclear attacks. Players will also be able to¬*take direct part in the action on the ground with their forces, and based on the multiplayer gameplay, these sounds like they could get rather intense. ¬*Armies will also gain experience, assuming they survive the battles.

The first shots of the campaign mode have been released so check them out below.
