Starcraft 2 - Multiplayer Thread

I know we have a Starcraft 2 thread but I wanted to make this one to cater to any of the really competitive MP'ers out there.

I'm a 1405 Platinum player and if you want to discuss builds, strats, tacs, or w/e, this will be the place to do it

Oh hey I'm in plat too!

Only 6 games played though and won 4 of them IIRC. I was (un)lucky in the placement matches and won 4 of 5 games. The 6th I lost after being placed in platinum. :embarassed:

Although I did get silver 2v2, and I believe gold 3v3 and silver 4v4. With that said, my teammate in 2v2 is.... well let's just say I consistantly play better than him. >_>

Anyhow I'm always up for talking tactics! Especially zerg tactics! Any of you guys play zerg? =)

I was actually placed in Silver, rank 78. And I moved up the ranks since then! BTW, watch Day9 if you are interested in tactics

I guess I just need to play more games. It's difficult to find the motivation though. I know that most likely I will be crushed doing 1v1, and playing 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4 isn't that great of a practice. >_>

I'm in silver @ 1vs1 and 2vs2 team.

I mainly play customs and co-op anyways, I also watch more promatches than play.

Maybe we should try a few games nurma. I feel I belong in silver league, although I wouldn't be surprised if it is indeed bronze I end up in eventually. >_>

With that said, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 can be epic fun!


But if you're up for some 1v1 games to practice that'd be cool as well. ^_^

Couple of 2vs2's would be hillarious

I frown on 1vs1's because on 2v2's you can make mistakes.
I do know some great tactics though.

2v2 can indeed be very hillarious.

Also Day9 daily, although I can't recall the link to his website. He does livestreams as well as keeping an archive of all his episodes.

I'm subscribed to many more on youtube, but have really only watched Husky, HDStarcraft and Day9. Husky for the fun factor and Day9 mostly for a more strategic view of matches. Although his funday monday and nooby tuesday can be quite amusing. And I think friendday wednesday can be pretty awesome as well.

Then I watch HDStarcraft those times where there is not enough new vids from Day9 or Husky.
