Is anyone getting Battlefield: Bad Company 2?

I have rarely seen any aimbotters in FPS games. Maybe its because i play on hack / cheat protected servers

I must say I wouldnt buy this game. Expensive, so called "teamplay" oriented and the uberdestructibility of the environment being three main drawbacks for me.
However I got it for bday from friends who didnt know what to give me

Havent played any of the Battlefield series games before. Must say its catchy and I am enjoying it much after a few days of gaming. Even if it runs slide-show-ishly quite often on my rig. Grab a rifle and shoot some Russians/Americans, enjoyable

Battlefield Vietnam was my favorite. I LOVED that game.

Does anyone know if there are still active servers for it?

I loaded up BF2 and hated it. No idea why. Maybe its because I'm color blind. I never saw anyone and I died like 5 times in minutes. Played a total of 30 minutes maybe and just deleted it.

I also loved Vietnam, and getting used to BF2 took it's time ( and getting enough juice to my computer to run it

This game is pretty awesome. I played MW2 for a while (borrowed it). The Special Ops is kick butt (is swearing allowed on this forum? I better check the rules lol), SP is pretty good from what I hear, but the online is.. Meh. But BFBC2 rocks. I have only played the first mission or so on SP, but the online portion of the game is amazing. Nearly everything can break. It's pretty balanced between the classes, and is team-oriented, which I like. It's open, a little more tactical. Not as many deaths so fast (usually) and you kind of have time to think. Very excellent game and I recommend BFBC2 to anyone.
