Yeah, I'd say it's more Hellgate:London-like.
Although that was rather Diablo-like, we're making some logic jumps, soon we could say Tetris is very similar to WoW.

First, no it isn't, Diablo is a RPG, that is a FPS, are you blind?

Second, this is a forum for Diablo 3, by posting it here you only made the game look bad, compared the epic awesomeness that is D3.

Very trite response, looks especially stupid since it's come to light that it has RPG elements.

Yeah I'm a n00b because I've never posted on these forums, but I've been reading them for a while. Unfortunattely I've never had anything to contribute...and still don't by the looks of it :(

FWIW, previewers are comparing it to Diablo 3 so I was just taking their word for it.

Feel free to delete this post, just thought somebody might find it interesting because of the Diablo references.

Perhaps a link to some of these previews that draw parallels between this and D3 would be in order?

I agree q, it doesn't look a bit like Diablo, but the gameplay sounds similar.

As far as a link, almost every preview mentions Diablo. Check out the first link (Borderlands Preview: Diablo with Guns, Looking Fun) returned from doing a google search for "borderlands preview diablo".
