I enjoyed the SP of HGL. I was always hoping a crack would show up that would let me continue to play it that way.

I bought the Collector's Edition of this game back when it first came out. I was pre-occupied then, so I never got the chance to play it. Turns out, my bought-with-real-money installation discs won't even patch... I have to download the game from the site now that it's f2p. Did they change the entire game around or something?
Anyways, I'll give it a try now since I'm free. Anyone wanna join?
The new one is a completely new thing. Your old discs won't work.
Just download and play. However, you still need to buy two tickets (either with money or with ingame coin) to be able to get pass Act 2 and Tokyo.
However, we don't take kindly to pokemon pictures.
Can you get in-game coins for free? Is there any aspect that costs money? In-game vanity?
The cash shop has various items ranging from looks up to skills points, stat points and items that make your life easier.
> However, you still need to buy two tickets <
So I still need to spend real life cash to progress in the game?
> The cash shop has various items ranging from looks up to skills points, stat points and items that make your life easier. <
And cash isn't limited to vanity, but aspects that possibly improve PvP winning chances?
:badteeth:
Clarify before I give this game my terribad stamp? :D
You don't need to spend RL money. Some items, including the above mentioned tickets, can be bought from other players with ingame coin (Palladium).
As for your second question, yes.
Thanks for the info. I'm browsing the site, but I can't find the store which shows the prices of these upgrades. I mean, if it's useless quibbles (~$0.50 USD), I wouldn't mind playing, but otherwise...
The cash shop is only available ingame.
I haven't spent a dime in game.
Taking a break currently, but I've enjoyed it.
I miss a few very minor changes that made the original single player more challenging, but there's TONS of new content (or at least content I never saw).
Its a lot better than a lot of the rubbish people are raving about in my opinion.
