IncGamers caught up with UbiSoft in Montreal to get the low-down on Far Cry 2. These are in-depth lengthy interviews that will be split into 3 sections.

In This part of the interview, Patrick discusses the game's vehicle and weapon damage and how they plan to keep the game fun while keeping the realism. Also discussed is the game's environment and how they have implemented the vegetation and environments that populate the game.

Patrick also goes over the map editor, one of the game's features that shooter fans are looking forward in Far Cry 2.

The AI sounds very interesting, something most games don't get right, yet it has a major impact on immersion. When you come across AI and they are doing any number of tasks, as opposed to standing still or at best performing one of very few short tasks it, it creates a sense of being part of that world.I'm looking forward to the next two parts of this.
