Batman: Arkham Asylum review page 3

Batman: Arkham AsylumYou'll also have the option to explore the island, an island that has hidden riddles and puzzles either in the form of trophies dotted around the world by the Riddler who's adamant that he's the smartest man alive, or you'll stumble across maps and recorded interviews of the villians in Arkham Asylum.  You'll also have access to their bios, and you can find little spider blocks which detail the history of Arkham, and are narrated by Amadeus Arkham, the founder of the Asylum.

When you've finished the story mode of the game you'll have fun taking on the challenges that get unlocked as you progress through the game.  These vary, but are always one level from the main story.  In one challenge you might be required to take out a group of inmates as quickly as possible, in another you might have to get the highest score, while stealth might be the aim of the game in another challenge.  Your scores can be uploaded to leaderboards too, giving you more of a reason to do better.

What's incredible about Batman is that once I'd played it through I wanted to play it again and play it differently.  I did, and it's amazing how much re-playability this game offers.  Coupled with its impressive art style and its dedication to the DC comics, this is a must have game for anyone who's interested in Batman, and a must have game for anyone who just appreciates good games.

Rocksteady, we salute you.

9/10
Nothing to say other than it's a great game. You'd be silly not to have this in your library.
