After the source code was nabbed by hackers last year, Half Life 2 seems to have been sitting in limbo as far as a release date was concerned. Today there was a glimmer of hope for a summer release thanks to a new story posted on CNN Money. According to Valve's Doug Lombardi "Valve is currently targeting this summer for the completion of Half-Life 2". The story also mentions that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines which is being developed by Troika has slipped to Spring 2005 due to the stolen source code. Further info on the Half Life 2 release date will be announced some time around E3 in May.
