Planetside Core Combat Ships

There's a whole lot of shipping going on today as SOE announce that the expansion for their MMO shooter Planetside, Core Combat, has now shipped out to North American game shops.

The expansion features six new underground war zones, additional weapons, vehicles, and enhanced empire bonuses and adds many new gameplay options for the price of $29.99. Michael Lustenberger, director of product marketing, Sony Online Entertainment added:

"Players will find the expansion adds a new dimension to the gameplay within PlanetSide as they experience head-to-head urban combat, exotic locations, and awesome alien weapons and vehicles. PlanetSide: Core Combat is a must have expansion for all true soldiers of Auraxis as they fight to lead their empires to victory above and below the surface."
