Jumpgate: Episode 2 Released


NetDevil today announced the release of Jumpgate: Episode 2, Attack of the Conflux, the expansion to its massively multiplayer space combat and trading simulation. New features include:
  • Player-Owned Space Stations: Players will now have the opportunity to purchase and operate a space station, including a storage depot for ship parts, trading capabilities for commerce with allies and teams, and a spacecraft hangar allowing players to store up to 20 ships;
  • A mysterious new Alien Galaxy: Players will be able to explore and invade the home sectors of the sinister Conflux;
  • A deadly array of new opponents: The Conflux are more dangerous than ever, with faster, tougher ships and improved AI swarm systems;
  • Pirating and counter-pirating equipment: Pirates can capture cargo in interstellar raids, while freighter pilots can defend themselves with cargo bombs;
  • A new Sector Control System: Squads can seize control of sectors in space, setting off battles for domination with their rivals; and Several new Ship Types: Powerful new Heavy Fighters and gigantic Freighters are among the new additions to the choices for TRI pilots.
