Borderlands 2 due in September

Borderlands 2Gearbox has announced that Borderlands 2 will be released on 18 September in the US and 21 September internationally, accompanying this news with a fresh trailer. There are also some pre-order extras to be had, if you're the sort of person who likes giving people money about six months in advance of when you need to.

The early order stuff (detailed here) includes a 'golden key' for unlocking a rare item, a Vault Hunter's Relic and a golden gun pack (so you can pretend to be James Bond or something).

Meanwhile, the new trailer (below) urges you to do a 'joy puke' which may be the least enticing suggestion possible, and features a robot dancing to (you guessed it) a fuckload of dubstep. If only there was some way they could've made this video more ostentatious ...

Borderlands 2 is coming to PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
