Contain your surprise, there's a new Modern Warfare 3 map

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3Call of Duty 'Elite' premium members will be treated to a new multiplayer map (just the one) for Modern Warfare 3 later this February, which will take them atop a 70-storey New York high-rise. It claims to be the "highest multiplayer map" Call of Duty has ever seen. I'd imagine that will remain true until they base on inside a plane or something.

So, if you're a fully paid-up member of premium Elite, you can download this map from 21 February onwards. If you're not, you'll still be able to buy it, but at a later (as yet undisclosed) date. The price isn't confimed either, but since this is Call of Duty you may as well expect the worst.

Want to know what's coming up for Elite members? Have a look at this calendar of events.
