Darksiders 2 gets simultaneous PC and console release

Well, well, this is a rare thing indeed. A title lead-developed for consoles will be getting a simulaneous release across all platforms, including PC.

THQ has confirmed that 29 June is the day that Darksiders 2 will be launching in the UK. If you're in the US, you can mark 26 June on your calendars.

In a move that will surprise nowhere, UK retailers GAME and Gamestation (who are both part of the same parent company) will offer exclusive pre-order bonuses. 

No matter which one you pre-order with you'll receive the 'Death Rides Pack', featuring two hours of side missions. 

Pre-order from Amazon and you'll get the less inticing 'Deadly Despair' pack, which gives you an upgraded in-game horse.
