Creative Assembly has released a new video for Total War Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai, the latest stand-alone expansion from the strategy studio. Much as Napoleon: Total War was a stand-alone spin-off from Empire: Total War, so too Fall of the Samurai is both connect to, and separate from, Total War: Shogun 2.
As the trailer (below) explains, this title is based 400 years after the events of Shogun 2 in a period where the last Shogunate is facing off against a resurgent Japanese Imperial Throne.
Fall of the Samurai is coming to the PC in March.
