Starhawk 'Limited Edition' is GameStop exclusive

General ScreenshotIf you want to get hold of the 'Limited Edition' release of forthcoming PS3-exclusive title Starhawk, you'll have to follow some very specific instructions. (1) Order it before the release date of 8 May and (2) Get it from GameStop. Ok, so, those instructions didn't turn out to be too complicated to follow, but they are a bit restrictive. Especially if you live in a country without a GameStop.

Developers Lightbox say they're pursuing "options" for the EU and other regions, but for now GameStop is your only choice.

Here's what the Limited Edition has in store for you:

  • Maw of Despair Outcast Pack: Includes the Maw of Despair Co-op Map and Shade Warrior MP Skin.
  • Echo Scrapyard Rifter Pack: Includes the Scrapyard Homeworld and Huxley Ardin MP Skin.
  • Starhawk Concept Art PS3 Theme: Decorate your PS3 with the amazing concept art that help bring the Starhawk Universe to life.
  • Copy of the Original Warhawk (PSone): Download and play the title that started it all.
  • Official Starhawk Soundtrack: Christopher Lennertz’s original score available as a PSN download.

Now, yes, most (or even all) of this will probably be available as stand-alone offers at a later date, but if you want it all in one place you'll have to track down a Limited Edition version of Starhawk.
