Mass Effect 3 Facebook app provides 360 rewards

A Mass Effect 3 Facebook app has been released by Microsoft that rewards players for completing "missions". The first of the Facebook missions is up and running now, requiring you simply sign up to the app (that's a mission?).

Once the relevant number of people have signed up, everyone will receive a Normandy toy for your Xbox avatar.

Other avatar rewards are promised, other missions are likely to be just as mundane.

Everyone that signs up to the app will be entered into a sweepstakes, the top prize being a custom Mass Effect 3 250GB Xbox 360 that comes in either a Paragon or Renegade paint job.

In total, 11 Facebook app mission have been planned. Including one which task you with downloading the game's demo and another where you must submit videos of yourself doing Mass Effect character impressions.

Seriously, who thought these up...
