The Mass Effect 3 demo (due 14 February) will include a limited time subscription to Xbox Live Gold. Just how limited is "limited" has yet to be defined, but the smart money is going to say that it'll last for a weekend.
Mass Effect 3's demo includes a single player mission from early in the day, as well as a peek at the multiplayer. It's the multiplayer that's presumably the reason for the inclusion of the Gold trial, with BioWare keen to allow players to experience the demo in whole.
The same demo will also be available through the PlayStation Store and through Origin on PC.
Mass Effect 3 is released on 6 March in Europe on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
