You know you've been around videogames too long when you no longer bat an eye at the name Pineapple Smash Crew; but that's certainly not to say that it looks boring. Quite the opposite in fact. The creation of one-man development team Rich Edwards (with musical help from chiptune artist Cyphus), Pineapple Smash Crew looks like a brightly coloured Alien Breed mashed together with Cannon Fodder.
Which, of course, should be a great thing. You can expect tight, squad-formation shooting, grenades galore and powerups aplenty. Watch the trailer below for more.
Pineapple Smash Crew will be released on Steam on 2 February.
