Fifa Street date confirmed, social features require Origin account

FIFA Street image

EA has confirmed that Fifa Street will be coming to the UK on 16 March. North American residents will be able to perform ankle-breaking tricks three days earlier on 13 March.

Along with the release date confirmation comes details of a 'Street Network' feature designed as a kind of social network/competition hub.

Bixarrely, you'll need an Origin account to access Street Network, after which you can capture and share videos, track friends' progress and "follow each other's status in EA Sports Football Club".

We're reserving judgement until we play it for ourselves, but the description hardly sounds mesmerising.
