For the past few weeks we have been waiting patiently for some sort of update from Blizzard regarding the game systems. Right now we know that there's a lot still incomplete that is not present in the Beta such as the Runestone system.
It looks like we won't have to wait much longer as an update from Blizzard's Jay Wilson is now expected tomorrow and this update should nail down any game features that were still up in the air. Blizzard CM Bashiok Tweeted in response to a query regarding the incoming update:
@Park_Spencer I don’t know what he was talking about. He drinks a lot of cough syrup. (jk it’ll be going up tomorrow)
So tomorrow is a big day for Diablo players, hopefully everything will now be set and we'll have a full picture of how the game systems will work. Bring on release!
