Star Trek Online free-to-play from today

The long-trailed switch to a free-to-play model for Star Trek Online has occured today, meaning anybody will be able to hop into the sweaty black trousers of a Starfleet captain without paying any kind of subscription fee. Should you prefer, you can also jump into the equally sweaty garments of a Klingon captain.
