Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D release date confirmed

Finally, Konami has confirmed a European release date the 3DS's Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D. It will be arriving here on 8 March - the box art is above.

The wait has ben long and (for fans, at least) tortuous, the game originally planned to be released alongside the 3DS console back in March 2011. Konami then told us the game would ship in November... which it didn't, obviously. 

8 March seems like an odd release date given the competition Snake Eater 3D is going to be going up against. The likes of Max Payne 3, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and Mass Effect 3 all due for release around that same period.
