Left 4 Dead Boomer figure is brilliantly grizzly

Left 4 Dead - Boomer figurine

Very how fickle we can be sometimes. Only yesterday I was attacking the prevalence of special editions and how their contents are both pointless and wildly overpriced. And yet, here I am finding myself drawn to a bit of moulded, painted plastic.

This figurine of Left 4 Dead's bile projecting 'Boomer' (produced by NECA) is noteworthy because of the attention to detail. The distorted skin, neck boils, bloodshot eye and swollen hands combine to form a disturbingly accurate recreation of one of the game's more memorable adversaries.

Unfortunately, this Boomer (as well as other examples from Left 4 Dead's cast) won't be available until next Spring.
