Lineage 2 EU free to play starts December


Lineage 2Last month it was announced that Lineage II would be going free to play and today we have the first details and a launch date for the European service.

When the new free service launches in early December, it will come with the Goddess of Destruction expansion which includes numerous enhancements such as new graphics, 4x faster leveling and character advancement, eight powerful ‘Awakening’ classes, new weapons and armour, unexplored hunting grounds, a revamped world and over 400 hours of brand new Lineage II gameplay.

Details of the EU version have also been posted on the new Lineage 2 EU site in multiple languages and Innova has confirmed the game will be localised in stages which are likely to roll out at the start of next year.

As all the game content is completly free, items, packs and boosters will be available from the L2 store. NCSoft have already stressed that no items purchased will give any player an advantage.
