Perfect World Entertainment has announced that Star Trek Online free to play will launch on 17 January 2012.
Perfect World recently took on Cryptic Studios and subsequently announced that Star Trek Online would be going free to play. Once the game goes free, players who continue to subscribe will receive extra perks if they take advantage of the Gold and Silver packages on offer.
