The combination of skill and dedication can yield great results: the Sistine Chapel, the breaking of the atom, Steven Gerrard, Halo sniper rifles made from Lego. Yep, weighing in at 10.5 pounds and measuring 5.5 feet, Nick Jensen has built scale model replica of Halo's Sniper Rifle System 99 Anti-Materiel.
Jensen's model features a removable magazine, multi-position safety catch and a sliding bolt. It's bloody ridiculous, bloody awesome and looks pretty bloody fragile.
That fragility resulted in the gun breaking twice during its construction, once falling to the floor and once collapsing under the strain of its own weight. We'd love to know just how long it took and how many Lego pieces went into its construction.
What do you reckon? 1,000, 2,000? More? Less?
No matter what, though, a round of applause to Mr Jensen. Goob job.
