EA look back at the origins of Syndicate

Starbreeze Studios new title is a far cry from the original game and this trailer should bring back memeories for those old enough to remember.

Syndicate was an absolute classic when it was released way back in 1993, it really got you hooked. It was fun, innovative and looked great at the time. Watching this trailer now it highlights how far games have come since the early nineties but it does bring back fond memories of countless hours spent waging war against other syndicates on my 486 SX25.

The plan with the new title is to rekindle some of the original game's magic, although I have to say the new game appears to be pretty far removed from the original vision, even if the plot is similar.
