Today on the EU PlayStation Store (12/10/11)

PlayStation NetworkCastlevania, Res Evil 5, Space Marine. Still no Mortal Kombat.

The PS3's digital landscape is somewhat devoid of eye-catching new elements this week. Releases, HD conversions and movie cash-ins dominate the new game space, while various Call of Duty map packs are the highlight for PlayStation Plus subscribers looking for a cheap deal.

As if to take the piss further, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine (a game THQ never got round to providing us a review copy for - probably because of our negative previews) had appeared on the storefront... for £49.99. Game have it for £19.99 on the high street, you do the math.

Dissapointingly there's still no sign of Mortal Kombat: Arcade Kollection. The highly anticipated bundled of classic MK's has been available on Xbox Live for a few weeks now, with Sony continuing to cite 'technical issues' as the reason behind the no-show.

It's not all bad, Dragon Age II's 'Mark of the Assassin' DLC is out now and PlayStation Plus members can get 25% off Resident Evil 5 'Gold Edition' for the next seven days.
