Space Marine 'Exterminatus' DLC dated

Warhammer 40K: Space MarineThe previously-announced freebie 'Exterminatus' DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is scheduled for 25 October.

That's the date when a two scenario co-op mode will be added to the game; 'Assault on Hab Center Andreas' and 'Escape from Kalkys Facility'. Each one is survival-themed, with the marines having to live through multiple hordes of Orks and other space nasties.

Any progress made in the co-op will count towards free-for-all multiplayer, and perks gained in the latter can be used for co-op.

More DLC is planned for all platforms, with Relic stating that "There will be a free component to them as well as some paid components".
