Console port coming next month.
It seems odd to be writing a news story about a release date for a game that's already had a sequel released all major platforms, but that's the crazy world of modern videogame land we live in.
Published by EA, the original Crysis will be released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation on 4 October, 2011. Crysis for 360/PS3 has been modified for consoles using the CryEngine 3; an engine that has itself been optimised to perform on consoles. This new verison of the game includes stereoscopic 3D and new lighting effects.
Crysis will be arriving via Xbox Live Arcade and PSN for 1600MS Points/$19.99.
