Bringing back the happy memories.
Red Alert is probably the finest strategy game ever made (yes, better than StarCraft) and now fans of the classic can relive iy through a new Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 mod called The Red Alert.
This new mod brings the original units into the more recent game engine. It's quite amazing what such a small team have done to bring the game back to life.
Let's be honest: Red Alert 2 wasn't great and, while Red Alert 3 was an improvement, it wasn't a patch on Westwood Studios' original. If (like me) you're a massive Red Alert fan I urge you to check this one out.
