This is what Obsidian's Aliens RPG might have looked like...

Original concept art provides a glimpse into the scrapped project.

Concept art is not always a true reflection on a game's final make-up, but it can still provide an interesting insight... especially into what was a fairly high-profile cancellation. Set to be published by Sega and developed by Obsidian, the Aliens RPG was first announced in 2006 - three years later, in 2009, production had officially stopped.

Posted on the personal blog of Obsidian artist Charles Lee, the following concept art shows a variety of locations; laboratories, moody cities, external landscapes and industrial zones.

Did you know? All Sega titles (including Aliens vs. Predator) are up to 90% off on Steam until Tuesday 27 September.
