Diablo 3 Beta 'really close'

Eager Dianlo 3 fans are still waiting for the launch of the beta test for the general public and there could be some light on the horizon.

The beta test for select members of the public was expected to start last week, but due to what appears to have been delays with the auction house testing, the weekend came and went with no sign of a launch date.

The latest news from Blizzard this morning is that they are now 'Really close' to getting the beta test live. The development team have been concentrating on the Battle.Net stability and features in the current phase which Blizzard say is the final hurdle before getting invites sent off to potential testers.

We are expecting the Beta to go live this week but I suspect we'll be looking at th eend of the week.
