El shaddai coming to Android

Yes, that includes the Xperia Play.

A mobile edition of the PS3/360's El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron will be coming to Android, says publisher Ignition Entertainment. 

According to Japanese magazine Famitsu, the mobile edition of the game will take the form of a 2D side scroller. Given the nature of the home console original, we can only presumably that the Android version will feature both combat and platforming sections. 

It terms of the plot it is not yet known whether it will be follow in the same path as the console counterpart or comprise something new entirely.

Unfortunately (and despite our positive review) El Shaddai has yet to make it into Chart-Track's official UK top 40 sales chart since its 9 September release on this side of the pond.
