Savage Coast of Turan launches on Age of Conan

Age of Conan: Rise of the God SlayerThe new adveture pack launches on the now free to play MMO.

The The Savage Coast of Turan has been launched today by Funcom for Age of Conan: Unchained. This new content update includes characters and locations from the recently released Conan the Barbarian movie which has not exactly reviewed well with film critics. Not that the movie has any bearing on the quality of this content update of course.

The Savage Coast of Turan is set in Persian influenced areas of Ardashir featuring several new dungeons and world regions. Players can purchase access to the Adventure Pack through the in-game store available to both Premium members and free players.

“Not only have we created this fantastic world for players to explore, but we have combined it with known storylines from Robert E. Howard as well as connecting it to the recent release of the film Conan the Barbarian,” says Game Director Craig Morrison. “’The Savage Coast of Turan’ will offer great challenges to players, but with great challenges comes great rewards. This adventure pack continues our tradition of continually improving the game and adding new content, and ‘The Savage Coast of Turan’ does a great job showcasing that ‘Age of Conan’ is still one of the most visually stunning MMO’s out there.”
