Six months ago Rift launched to critical acclaim and Trion are celebrating.
Anniversaries are usually celebrated after one year but Trion are doing it slightly different by having a six month anniversary celebration for their MMO.
From today there will be in-game bonuses for players including XP bonuses, prestige and more. Players are also being encouraged back to the game along with new players who can play for free.
The celebrations also include prizes such as HP PCs, video cards, and game time so there's plenty of loot up for grabs. Finally, anyone who subscribes to Rift by August 31 will receive 'a special gift' to let them re-live the festivities.
Not bad at all considering they are only celebrating six months of the game being live.
