No London Games Festival this year

UKIE confirm postponement of the event, will return next year.

The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment (UKIE) have confirmed that there will be no London Games Festival this year. However, they also announced that the event will return in 2012 will a "bigger and bolder group of events" to coincide with the London Olympic games.

London Games Festival director, Kirsty Payne said: "We really want to make London Games Festival 2012 a great destination for interactive entertainment and create a diverse group of events."

UKIE will also enter talks with rival trade organisation TIGA to discuss plans of collaboration.
