Hellgate open beta dated and detailed

The Hellgate closed Beta is almost done and dusted as T3 get ready to open up the online RPG to one and all.

Many of you may have already taken part in the closed beta test of the Hellgate relaunch in North America and Europe but if you haven't then take a note of this date.

On 30 June the game will be opened up for all players who want to check out the game's reboot which also includes two new game modes – the PvP Duel Area and the zombie-infested Cow Room.

The Cow Room surely has to be a nod to Diablo?

New features are also being added for the Beta and there will be four special events planned to help strengthen the Hellgate community which has dwindled somewhat over the years. The events are to encourager teamwork and guilds where players will have to earn rewards including nano shards or Palladiums on a per member basis.

There is a Daily Supplies event which will run for one month and once day players can acquire items such as seek out objects such as Resurrection scrolls and  Power message abilities around the Greenwich headquarters.

The To Level in Hell event will challenge players to level up as fast as they can until level 20. The GMs will then pick 10 winners to win 3,000 TCoins each.

Finally the Level and Be Rewarded event will offer special prizes on all players who reach level 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, and 50. There is apparently some super-mega prize on offer.
