Journey and EA dominate E3 2011 awards


The PSN-only title and the American mega-publisher take home eight gongs between them.

Today saw the announcement of the IncGamers E3 2011 Awards. There were two clear winners in Journey and Electronic Arts, the two combining to walk away with eight of the fourteen awards on offer.

Journey, the upcoming game that thatgamecompany (developers of Flow and Flower), bagged itself the Best Game, Best New IP and Besr PS3 Exclusive awards. Electronic Arts saw itself win Best Publisher while FIFA 12 won Best Sports Game, Star Wars: The Old Republic took Best MMO and Battlefield 3 won Best Trailer and Best Shooter.
