Latest Guild Wars 2 NPC is a chubby dolphin with legs


Guild Wars 2 - Quaggan ImageArenaNet has revealed a new NPC race from Guild Wars 2, complete with the inevitable pages of backstory.

The 'Quaggan' as they're known look rather like plump dolphin creatures with strong hind legs and forearms that are slightly longer and more useful looking than a T-Rex's. Apparently they are "intelligent, benign, amphibious beings" who used to live in the Unending Ocean but now appear in shallower waters like freshwater lakes, the Tarnished Coast and the Sea of Sorrows.

Although they're friendly and polite for the most part, ArenaNet warn that they can be prone to "hulking out" if you anger them. So you should probably steer clear of that, unless you want to be looking at this:
