LulzSec claim Bethesda hack, make demands

Bethesda LogoBethesda are the latest publisher to receive the attention of hacking conglomerate 'LulzSec', with the group threatening to release "lots of Bethesda/ZeniMax data today."

If the organisation follow through with their suggestions, Bethesda will join Epic and Codemasters in an ever-increasing list of gaming companies who've suffered security breaches of late. Sony, of course, being the other major example.

Those LulzSec chaps claim to have broken into Bethesda's database "over two months ago" and state that they've "had all your Brink users for weeks."

In a different twitter post, the hackers state they're pondering not releasing all 200,000+ users as they "love Call of Cthulhu." They've made a modest demand too, requesting the inclusion of an official LulzSec top hat in Skyrim in return for 'admin configurations' being omitted from the alleged forthcoming leak.

It's unconfirmed whether LulzSec were also behind the security failures at Epic and Codemasters.

Update: The data has, indeed, now been released by LulzSec.
