THQ to close Kaos Studios

Developer Kaos Studios is to be shut down by THQ according to reports today.

With THQ having operned their new Monteal based Studsio, they have decided to close down Kaos Studios in New York and also it's UK based studio. THQ has stated that develpoment of the Homefront franchise will continue at the new Montreal studio.

With tax break incentives being offered to publishers setting up in Canada it comes as no huge surprise that THQ would consolidate developent at the new studio. No doubt more will follow in the coming months and years.

It appears some employees will have the option to move to Montreal or have to look for other work.
