CCP has announced that Dust 514 will be a PlayStation 3 exclusive.
Dust 514, the console first-person shooter that's tied directly to EVE Online's ongoing universe, is now only in development for the PlayStation 3.
CCP's CEO Hilmar Pétursson took to the Sony press conference stage to reveal this info, to reiterate that the game is connected directly to EVE Online's server and that actions in one game will impact the other, and to reveal that we'll see Move support, a dedicated Home space, and "PSVita experiences." No details, sadly.
Pétursson also gave us some interesting timing windows: we'll see a Dust 514 open beta by the end of 2011, with launch currently targeted at spring 2012.
