UTV Ignition Games have confirmed that El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron will arrive in the UK and other European territories on 9 September, 2011 for Xbox 360 and PS3.
If you've not seen it before then you're missing out, because it packs a wonderful art style (as you can see in the trailer and screens below).
El Shaddai's development was headed up by Devil May Cry's Sawaki Takeyasu, which goes some way to explaining way the game looks so damn gorgeous. The full game promises 2D and 3D platforming and plenty of combat.
