TRION are set to launch their new MMORPG in Korea.
Hoping to make a splash in the Far East, TRION announced that their new MMORPG RIFT will be launching in Korea. Korean publsicher CJ E&M Games will be working with TRION on the localised version of the game which is proving to be a hit in the west. Trion Worlds CEO Lars Buttler added:
We take the Korean market very seriously as it is driven by innovation and growth in the online gaming space. By working with CJ E&M we are able to bring deep, immersive online gaming experiences to the east, and continue delivering quality games to gamers worldwide".
TRION is enjoying success with the new title and recently held their first world event which although it didn't quite go to plan, it was a great attempt at a first large scale event.
